Slack Notifications

How to set up Slack notifications for your Cortado AI account.

By default, Slack notifications are not available for all Cortado AI customers. To request access to this feature, please contact us at support@cortado-ai.com

Steps

Scroll to the bottom for a video overview.

If you have not already, choose a Slack channel where you would like to receive your Cortado AI notifications. This can be an existing Slack channel or a new one.

Create a new Slack app

  1. Open your web browser and go to

  2. Make sure you are signed into your Slack account.

  3. Go to Your Apps at the top-right of your screen.

  4. Click Create New App.

  5. Choose From Scratch.

  6. Name your app something you’ll remember (such as “Cortado AI Notifications”).

  7. Select the Workspace you’d like this app to be active in.

  8. Click Create App and you should be redirected to the new app’s settings page.

Adjust & save your app credentials

  1. You should now be on the app’s settings page.

  2. Select the category Incoming Webhooks from the left sidebar menu.

  3. Ensure the green toggle next to Activate Incoming Webhooks is set to "on."

  4. Scroll to the bottom and select Add New Webhook to Workspace.

  5. Select your preferred notifications channel and click Allow.

  6. The new webhook should now appear in your app's Incoming Webhooks page.

  7. Copy the Webhook URL and share it with your Cortado AI account manager.
