# Connecting to Hostaway

## Adding a Hostaway Integration

1. Log into the Cortado web app and navigate to the Cortado Integrations Page
2. Select “Hostaway” and click “Add Account" or the + button
3. You will be redirected to the Hostaway Integration page, where you will be asked to enter your [**Hostaway API Key and User ID**](#how-to-create-a-hostaway-api-key).
4. Enter your Hostaway Partner Token and click "Submit"
5. Watch your listings and conversations populate!

While most initial syncs complete in less than 5 minutes, portfolios of 25+ listings may take up to 30 minutes during their first sync. Please do not attempt to re-add a Hostaway account during this process.

## How to create a Hostaway API Key

You can access your Hostaway API page directly by visiting the link below:

1. In a separate tab, log into your Hostaway dashboard
2. Navigate to Settings using the left side-bar
3. Click “[Hostaway API](https://dashboard.hostaway.com/settings/hostaway-api)” from the top selection bar
4. Once on the [Hostaway API page](https://dashboard.hostaway.com/settings/hostaway-api), click “Create” to create a new API key
5. Enter a name for your key (e.g., “Cortado Key”) and select **Cortado AI** in the Partner field
6. You will see the following screen with your Account ID and API Key. Save both before exiting the window.
