Response Buffer

Set your AI Agent's response buffer time

The Response Buffer controls the amount of time your AI Agent will wait before responding to an incoming guest message. The wait time is triggered when the message is received in Cortado's system and resets if a new guest message arrives before the wait time has completed.

Recommended Buffer — We recommend setting a Response Buffer of at least 30-60 seconds to ensure that back-to-back guest messages are handled properly by your AI. Setting too short a wait time will cause your AI to send multiple responses to back-to-back guest messages.
